Mace Consult appoints Chief Digital and Information Officer

Mace Consult has appointed Tarek ElHadidi as its Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). Playing a crucial role in the delivery of impactful infrastructure and capital programmes, Tarek will shape Mace Consult’s technology roadmap, enhance core operational systems and refine the digital tools and platforms that help deliver greater certainty for clients.

With a career defined by driving transformational change and operational improvement, Tarek joins Mace Consult having held senior CIO roles at public and private equity owned multinational organisations.

From a strong industrials and technology background, Tarek brings with him a global perspective that will be invaluable as Mace Consult looks to expand across its four hubs in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa and Asia Pacific following its launch as a standalone company in March.

Davendra Dabasia, CEO Mace Consult, says:

“Mace Consult’s new independence enables accelerated global growth and an enhanced client offering. This will, in part, come through investment into digital tools that will define the future of our industry.

“It’s absolutely essential that the tools we bring in also make the lives of our people simpler, allowing them to focus on adding value where it matters most.

“Tarek is joining Mace Consult at the beginning of a new phase, and I am delighted to welcome his skills and experience to our Executive team.”

Tarek ElHadidi, CDIO Mace Consult, comments:

“Mace Consult works on some of the world’s largest infrastructure and capital programmes, which over the lifetime of their delivery create billions of data points. It’s what is done with this data that matters, and I am excited by what the future holds for our clients and the communities that benefit from these projects.”

Major infrastructure programmes often involve dozens of organisations, thousands of decisions, and billions of dollars moving in parallel. By using data intelligently, Mace Consult establishes the right governance and delivery frameworks. This enables timely and well-informed decisions, early and pre-emptive resolution of problems, prioritisation of safety and sustainability and the uncovering of new opportunities to deliver programmes and projects on time, on budget, and to scope.
