Mace, the global consultancy and construction company, was awarded a total of six Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Presidents’ Awards at this year’s ceremony.

The ‘President’s Award’ is for those organisations who achieve a RoSPA Gold Award for health, safety and wellbeing excellence for 10 consecutive years.

Mace Operate was among those to collect the ‘President’s Award’, with Mace Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Services, Mace Commercial Offices, Mace Interiors, Mace Residential Sector and Mace Public Estates, Research, Education, Arts & Culture and Health (PREACH) also receiving the accolade.

A Mace Operate managed European account (Colt Workplace Services - FM) also won a RoSPA Gold Award for the first time.

Ross Abbate, Chief Executive of Mace Operate, said:

"We're delighted to have achieved a RoSPA President's Award, demonstrating our outstanding achievement in continuous improvement over the past decade.

“When it comes to our core value of ‘safety first' we are delivering on our purpose, redefining the boundaries of ambition by being one of the few facilities management providers to have achieved this prestigious, global award.

“I'm particularly pleased for our teams that work diligently to ensure our clients, colleagues and partners go home safe and well at the end of each working day. This award is recognition of their excellent work."
