Mace Construct will become Forco in January 2027

For 35 years, we've shaped skylines. Now we're shaping the future of construction. Introducing Forco.

Mace Construct will be known as Forco from January 2027. Until then, we will continue to trade as Mace Construct. Our new name is part of a new brand, also launching in January, and follows the demerger of Mace Construct and Mace Consult in March. After three decades under the Mace name, Forco marks the next chapter in our journey as an independent contractor.

Watch: a first look at what's to come in January

The Forco name and brand reflect an ambition to become the UK’s most forward-thinking contractor. Grounded in our 35-year history, the brand will build on our culture, values and reputation for driving progress and raising standards. It will be supported by a new business strategy focused on accelerating the industry through automation, industrialisation and digital delivery.

Follow our new LinkedIn and Instagram channels for more information on the new brand over the coming months.

Why is the name changing?

Mace Construct has been operating as a standalone business following the demerger of Mace Construct and Mace Consult in March 2026. The new brand will give us a clear, distinct identity for the future, while protecting the strength and reputation we have built as business over the last three decades.

What does the name Forco mean?

Chosen as part of the wider brand programme and in consultation with colleagues, clients and partners, the name is strong, impactful and easy to pronounce. It builds on our 35-year track record of driving progress and signals our intent to shape the future of construction. The logomark represents forward motion and structure: progress given shape.

What happens to the Mace name?

Mace Consult will retain and continue operating under the Mace name and brand. From January 2027, Mace Construct, already an independent business, will be renamed Forco.

When does the change happen?

We continue to trade as Mace Construct until January 2027. At that point, Forco will launch a new visual identity, website and corporate strategy.

Does anything change for my current project or contract?

Live projects and contracts are unaffected, and you'll work with the same teams and contacts throughout.

What will the new brand and corporate strategy include?

The full brand launches in January and has been developed in consultation with colleagues, clients and supply chain partners. It will be supported by a new corporate strategy, including aim to be the UK's most forward-thinking contractor, and its most productive by 2030. Look out for more details In January 2027.

Is the business moving?

Yes. In early 2027 we move to a new head office at 6 Devonshire Square, London, which will open under the Forco name.
