Mace Construct to become Forco from January 2027
New name marks next chapter in contractor's 35-year history
Mace Construct has announced it will be known as Forco when it launches its new brand in January 2027.
Mace Construct and Mace Consult became two separate businesses in March, with the agreement that Mace Consult would retain the Mace brand. The construction business's new name marks the next chapter in a journey spanning more than three decades. As Forco, it will set out a new path as an independent UK contractor.
Developed as part of the wider brand programme, in consultation with colleagues, clients and partners, the name is short, impactful and easy to pronounce. It builds on the business's 35-year track record of driving progress and signals its intent to shape the future of construction through automation, industrialisation and digital delivery.
Until January, the business will continue to trade as Mace Construct. The Forco name and logo are revealed today, and the new LinkedIn and Instagram channels are now live. The logomark itself represents forward motion and structure, or progress given shape.
The full visual identity, a new website and a new corporate strategy, including a published commitment to independently audited productivity targets through to 2030, will launch together in January 2027. The new brand will not only reflect a new name but also a new strategy focused on turning ambition into action, and action into impact.
