Invesco Jemstep office relocation

Enhancing operational excellence through intelligent design

Delivering a future-ready workspace for Invesco Jemstep

Key takeaways

2,000 sq m design-and-build office fitout delivered in Johannesburg’s commercial hub

Comprehensive pre-construction services including feasibility, cost planning, and design coordination

Enhanced workspace functionality and employee wellbeing through modern design

Mace was appointed by Invesco to provide pre-construction services and detailed design for the Jemstep office relocation project in Johannesburg.

The new 2,000 square metre design-and-build fitout at 155 West Street marked a strategic move from their previous location at 138 West Street, driven by the need for a more functional and future-ready workspace.

The newly refurbished building offered an ideal canvas for a modern office environment tailored to Invesco Jemstep’s operational needs. Mace’s scope included feasibility studies, cost planning, value engineering, and detailed design coordination – ensuring the final solution aligned with the client’s vision for a high-performance, employee-centric workspace.

Mace’s early involvement laid the groundwork for successful delivery, enabling design optimisation and cost efficiency while meeting tight timelines in Johannesburg’s competitive Sandton commercial district.

The project not only enhances Invesco Jemstep’s operational excellence in Johannesburg, but also reflects Mace’s ability to deliver bespoke, high-quality office environments that support business growth and employee wellbeing.
