Mace Consult appointed to support Sydney Airport's AUD $6 billion capital works program

Mace Consult has secured a place on Sydney Airport's Professional Services Framework, supporting the airport's AUD $6 billion capital works program across its terminals, airside, landside and utilities infrastructure.

Mace Consult will play a vital role in the delivery of Sydney Airport's capital works program. Characterised by major upgrades, including an additional 65,000 square metres of terminal space and critical airfield enhancements, the program will significantly increase airport capacity and improve the passenger experience. These investments will support Sydney Airport's vision to cement its position as Australia's international gateway.

Mace Consult, in collaboration with TBH Consultancy, has been awarded a place on ‘Lot 3 – Delivery Services’ framework. Together, the firms will provide an integrated suite of services, ranging from program and project management, cost and commercial management, project controls, risk management, procurement advisory and delivery assurance.

Now fully mobilised, the team is actively supporting Sydney Airport’s growth ambitions, helping to bring certainty to a complex, long-term program of change while maintaining airport operations.

The appointment further strengthens Mace Consult’s footprint in Australia’s aviation sector – building on roles at Western Sydney International Airport with Air Services Australia, as well as Sydney Airport and Brisbane Airport and the Melbourne Airport T4 Express Link – and joins a list of renowned airport clients from around the world, which includes, Heathrow in the UK, Keflavik in Iceland, Schiphol in the Netherlands, Hamad in Qatar and KSIA in Saudi Arabia.
