The opportunity

To effectively manage the Mace Operate Global Account team and supply chain partners to ensure that exemplary property and facilities management services are provided to the client and stakeholders.

To manage resources and promote an ethos of team work and to instil a culture of continuous improvement.

To offer support and guidance to ensure that workflow is delivered effectively and to develop the team so that they achieve their full potential.

To develop and implement the account management plans in consultation with the client to meet the financial, operational and service delivery objectives as defined by the client and the contract framework agreement

To develop a relationship built on trust with the client in addition to contributing to the development and success of Macro by supporting the management team through business development and operational activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational management of internal and external service delivery teams, ensuring quality of services provided is continually improved and exceeds customer expectations.
  • Ensuring value for money is achieved through robust management of suppliers and measurement of performance service level agreements.
  • Reporting to client, financial responsibility of account to Macro, risk management, maintaining profitability as per the Macro budget plans.
  • Relationship management - customer and supplier relations to maintain and developed through the CRM process.
  • Providing strategic and technical support - general advice to customers, peers and team
  • Identifying and pursue growth opportunities for Macro.
  • Ensuring consistency of service standards across the current client’s portfolio and other properties that may be added at a future date.
  • Ensuring all staff maintain the highest safety standards across the portfolio and proactive drive a safety culture for the account teams.
  • To measure and benchmark service delivery and costs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and value for money is provided and savings opportunities identified.
  • Working with client stakeholders to review alignment, achieve goals and resolve escalated issues.
  • Coaching, mentoring, empowering and inspiring team members to take full ownership of events within their control and to create a culture of going the extra mile.
  • Increasing the engagement and resilient levels team members to reduce absences, optimise team morale and create wellbeing and mental health awareness.
  • Assisting and advising the client with external budgets and to liaise with our internal finance team for monthly financial reporting, budgets and forecasting.
  • Preparing and presenting the client monthly, quarterly and six monthly meetings/reviews
  • Managing the team in accordance with current HR practices (objectives, appraisals, pips, etc.) and to lead the HR processes as and when required (such as for restructuring etc.).
  • Supporting new initiatives and proposed changes by preparing compelling and robust business cases and submitting professionally constructed papers/reports.
  • Overseeing the project management of fit-outs, refurbishments and significant churn - including initial concepts and briefs, whilst overseeing the execution and post-delivery review with the introduction of seamless service delivery in place to reflect the new needs.
