Project story

First established in 2005 – to support its three UK offices – our watertight relationship with SABMiller has brought cohesion to the beverage brand. Replacing the company’s complex supply structure with our own simplified supplier structure, we’ve provided a central point of contact, consistent service and reduced costs.

In 2007 we reviewed SABMiller’s property portfolio and helped them expand to a new headquarters in Woking. This was promptly followed in 2009 by another office, this time in Reading. Our flexibility has allowed SABMiller to evolve and adapt – and us with them – with a hallmark of high standards present throughout their global enterprise.

Now heading up all four of SABMiller’s UK sites, our world class know-how has limited the number of suppliers and boosted service levels, while reducing transactional costs. With sustainability a constant concern, we’ve successfully slashed SABMiller’s energy and carbon emissions, with an ambitious plan to move toward zero waste.

Points of note

One of the world’s largest bottlers

SABMiller is one of the largest brewers worldwide, with distribution agreements across six continents. Six of SABMiller’s brands are in the world’s top 50 being sold, and they are one of the largest bottlers of Coca Cola on Earth.

Business as usual

In hand with SABMiller’s own property team, in 2011 we helped fit out three executive floors of the brand’s international HQ in London, while the building remained fully operational. The following year we refurbished a new floor at their Woking office – business as usual, once again – with safe routes and working practices ensuring there were no delays. In 2014 we project managed a full design and build project, opening another site in Woking for a new business division.

Bond, strong bond

In 2012, our partnership with SABMiller was extended for a further 5 years, underlining our facilities management skills and the strong bond between the companies.
