Mace secures place on Transport and Professional Services Framework

Mace has been appointed to the next generation of Transport for Greater Manchester’s (TfGM) Transport and Professional Services Framework, securing a place on the Project Cost and Commercial Management Lot.

This appointment marks the continuation of a successful partnership with TfGM and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, building on the achievements of the past four years. Over the next four years, Mace will provide expert cost and commercial management services to support the delivery of a world-class, integrated transport network through the TPS2025 Framework, including the next phase of the Bee Network - Greater Manchester’s vision for a fully integrated, carbon neutral public transport system. This appointment marks the continuation of Mace's longstanding relationship with Transport for Greater Manchester and will see the construction consultancy support TfGM to deliver vital regional infrastructure including Northern Powerhouse Rail, New Stations Programme and the renewal, enhancements and expansion of the Metrolink network.

Robert Whitham, Lead for Local Authority Transportation, Mace Consult, says:

“Securing a place on this framework presents a valuable opportunity to continue working closely with TfGM. Building on a long track record of delivering major programmes across Greater Manchester, Mace will bring commercial expertise to support the delivery of transport projects that enhance connectivity and contribute to the region’s long-term growth.”

Mace has proudly supported the growth and development of Greater Manchester for over 30 years. Its long-standing presence in the region reflects a deep commitment to the communities it serves and its role in helping shape Greater Manchester into an internationally recognised Northern Powerhouse.

Having worked alongside TfGM for more than a decade, Mace has contributed significantly to the transformation of the region’s transport infrastructure. This latest appointment strengthens the shared ambition to deliver sustainable, efficient, and inclusive transport solutions that meet the needs of Greater Manchester’s residents and businesses.
