Mace appointed to Crown Commercial Service's Facilities Management and Workplace Framework

Mace, the international consultancy, construction and facilities management company, has been chosen as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Facilities Management and Workplace Services framework (RM6232).

The RM6232 Facilities Management and Workplace Services framework offers facilities and workplace related professional services used by central government departments and all other UK public sector bodies. It will replace the RM3830 Facilities Management Marketplace Framework, which expires in April 2023.

Mace has been awarded a place on lot 1b: Total Facilities Management £1.5m - £10m, enabling the business to provide facilities management and workplace services across a variety of public sector bodies.

A new focus for the framework is supporting the principles of the Government’s Sourcing Playbook to emphasise the importance of social value and optimum pricing methodology, by heavily weighting ‘quality’ in its contract award criteria.

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2020/21, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.04bn - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

Ross Abbate, CEO for Operate at Mace, said:

“We are delighted to have been awarded a lot on the Facilities Management and Workplace Services Framework and look forward to working with public sector clients to deliver FM services across their estates.

“The new RM6232 framework will give us an opportunity to demonstrate our capability within the public sector, supporting government bodies across the UK with data-led insights, uncovering the true value of the workplace.”
