Mace jumps eight places to 23 in Sunday Times HSBC Top 100

Mace has placed in the 15th annual Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 100 for the seventh year in a row, jumping eight places from 31 in 2015 to 23 this year.

Compiled by Fast Track and published in The Sunday Times, the Top Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private companies with the biggest sales. A typical Top Track 100 company has sales ranging between £630 million and £18 billion and has between 100 and 20,000 staff. Mace has risen through the ranks over the years, placing 70 in 2010, 55 in 2011, 41 in 2014 and 31 in 2015.

Released in June this year, Mace’s 2015 Annual Report sees the company increasing its annual turnover by 19% to £1.77bn with a pre-tax profit of £36.2m. The company’s 2014 Annual Report saw the company create 500 new jobs, a turnover of £1.49bn and a pre-tax profit of £35m.

Dennis Hone, Group Finance Director at Mace, said: “Once again Mace has ranked in the Sunday Times Top Track 100 showing its resilience year-on-year in a difficult industry. We have jumped another eight places this year, even after jumping a staggering 10 places last year, which is a remarkable achievement. It’s our dedication to our clients and our workforce that allows us to remain strong in such pressing times. I would like to thank them both for pushing forwards and having such a strong outlook on Mace’s future. We can now concentrate on climbing even further up the list next year.”
