Andy Beard is Mace Consult’s Managing Director for Infrastructure in Europe, leading large programme and project management consultancy services across Highways, Rail, Airports, Ports, Defence, Energy, Water and Utilities markets. He oversees teams with specialist knowledge who deliver some of the region’s most complex and high‑value infrastructure programmes, shaping the systems, controls and delivery approaches required to support national resilience and long‑term economic growth. Andy brings deep client‑side insight from senior leadership roles at Gatwick and Heathrow airports, Thames Water, Network Rail, Tideway, TfL and London Underground, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing major infrastructure owners and operators.
Before his current role, Andy served as Mace Consult’s Global Cost and Commercial Director, where he led the development of commercial strategy and capability across international markets. His approach is driven by a commitment to strategic growth, operational excellence and delivering consultancy that is both insightful and outcome‑focused, enabling clients to achieve certainty on their most ambitious infrastructure investments.
