Introducing the Philippine’s first AI-ready hyperscale data centre: VITRO Santa Rosa (VSR) is a 50MW facility with 4,500 rack capacity, fully redundant water-cooled system, and a 99.99% uptime SLA. Redefining the Philippine’s digital future, this tier-3 certified – and tier-4 ready – facility is the country’s largest and most advanced data center of its kind, supporting economic growth, enterprise resilience, and global connectivity.

VITRO Inc., pioneers of hyperscale-grade data centres in the Philippines, with the largest local data centre footprint in the country, commissioned Mace Consult to deliver this project through project and construction management expertise. The result? A landmark facility set to position the Philippines as a digital hub for the Asia Pacific region.

Designed to be disaster-resilient, VSR has its own dedicated 60MW substation adjacent to the data center, underground fuel storage, and 72-hour backup capacity with contingencies to further improve the facility’s resilience.

Sustainability was a priority for VSR, and so Mace Consult ensured full LEED compliance, embedding energy-efficient systems and carbon-reducing innovations throughout the build.

Linked through the VITRO Data Centre Interconnect, VSR is directly connected to other VITRO flagship facilities and international cable landing stations, strengthening geo-redundancy and ensuring seamless connectivity to both domestic and global markets across Asia and the U.S.

The project reflects a strategic investment in the Philippines’ future, incorporating the use of technology, renewable energy, and innovative design to ensure efficient power and water utilization, and reduce carbon emissions.
