When it comes to awe-inspiring developments, look no further than Dubai, home to the world's tallest tower, largest mall, and grandest fountain. Adding to this impressive skyline is The Opera District, answering the ever-growing demand for high-end accommodation. Set within Downtown Dubai, its location is unrivalled. 

As project manager for eight mixed-use luxury residential and hospitality towers, we leveraged its 25 years of regional expertise to overcome major logistical constraints. Enclosed sides, limited site access, high congestion, and a full schedule of events at Dubai Opera required a robust logistics strategy. Ensuring strict segregation of public access routes and vehicle roads, with phased migration as construction progressed. 

Health and safety were paramount. Collaborating closely with Emaar’s health and safety department, we implemented a standardised approach, achieving the highest safety standards in the region. 

The towers are not just skyscrapers; they encompass a vast, interconnected basement up to six levels below ground. Mace managed the complex integration of these basements, creating a subterranean network that will serve as the logistical and service hub for the Opera District. 

Mace also provided design management services, enabling Emaar’s Development Management teams to control the project outcome from early design to construction. This ensured value-driven modifications while minimising impact on overall delivery. 

Treating the projects as one major programme, we drove efficiencies through shared knowledge and standardised systems, setting a new standard for complex builds in a fast-paced, ever-changing landscape. The towers now stand tall and proud next to iconic neighbours like the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Fountain, and Dubai Opera, showcasing our commitment to excellence.
