In 2003, we started working on the most ambitious residential and hotel resort seen anywhere in the world. With 36 residential towers and four hotel towers, boutique beach clubs and retail units to construct - all on sand and on an island site, we had our work cut out.
We delivered the client's vision by focusing on innovative design and operational efficiency, as well as developing a new community and vibrant public spaces. This ensured that Jumeirah Beach Residence was created as not ‘just another residential development’, but actually provided the ‘lifestyle of a lifetime’.
As programme and project managers for the client, as well as cost consultant, we were able to drive best practice through procurement, planning, logistics and cost control. We ensured detailed coordination of the programme of work and labour force across the 1.7km development.
