This is an opportunity to join our public sector team to deliver key governmental projects. Due to a dynamic business development programme, we are looking to employ a senior project manager.
This role will provide leadership and project management in all facets of the project activities to deliver the project to meet cost, time and quality requirements. This is a client-facing role, responsible for leading other team members, developing the clients’ strategy, through to managing the appointment of the extended professional team of local and international consultants and contractors.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the development and delivery of estate rationalisation programmes.
Managing the development and delivery of transformation programmes - responding to business needs.
Developing and managing effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that requirements are identified, assessed and appropriately integrated into the project.
Working with the client and reporting to the project lead responsible for helping to establish the strategy and delivery for the project.
Working with a motivated team that strives for quality, safety, cost and schedule improvements at every opportunity with all delivery partners, challenging and seeking to improve the project deliverables.
Providing input into client system safety and project risk assessment and management process.
Creating and writing intellectual content for bid submissions and proposals.
You have a degree qualification in a relevant discipline. You have general project management experience (from inception to construction to business operation) including contract administration in various forms of contract i.e. JCT, NEC and etc.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead and build motivated teams. You will have a consultancy background within the public sector and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
