The opportunity

Project: Our strategic procurement and supply chain team work very closely with our clients to implement a best practice and responsible procurement and supply chain pathway from business and programme level strategy to contract award whilst managing the full procurement process and supply chain integration.

Supply chain intelligence is a key service offering being developed in line with our responsible business objectives, to ensure our strategic advice to our clients is accurate and in-depth.

You will possess excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, strong organisational approach, be dedicated to achieving targets, an inquisitive and analytical approach to working, be able to support and lead internal and external objectives, be experienced in the implementation of digital tools and solution.

Further opportunities may be available to travel both nationally and internationally to service and manage key commissions for our blue-chip client portfolio.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support in business development strategy planning and bid development.
  • Developing and drafting of robust and responsible procurement strategy documents.
  • Providing client advisory services on procurement and supply chain process and policy.
  • Overseeing the performance of procurement management services for public and private clients.
  • Supporting the development of supply chain intelligence digital tools and solutions.
We are looking for an individual with knowledge and/or experience in procurement strategy development (across numerous project types), have worked in multiple tiers (e.g. client, consultant, contractor), supply chain mapping and intelligence, multidisciplinary (internal and external) stakeholder engagement and tender process management.

About you

You have a degree qualification related to procurement, project/design management, quantity surveying. You will have experience in strategy development. You have experience in procurement principles and process establishment.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
