Associate Director - Sustainability
London, United Kingdom
Mace is a privately-owned consultancy and construction company with an award-winning and established responsible business team of around 60 people. In January 2020, we published our net-zero carbon strategy - we’re proud to say that we’re committed to being a net-zero carbon business in 2020.
Many of our clients are asking for our support to help them develop or deliver their low carbon and net-zero carbon strategies, so we’re recruiting.
We are looking for experienced carbon/energy advisors and project managers with proven track records of leading and delivering change.
You’ll be happy leading client relationships and strategic conversations, have great communications qualities and loads of enthusiasm. You’ll be curious - always on the lookout for new improved technology or design solutions and you’ll probably have established networks of low carbon partners. Lastly, you will enjoy solving problems. Our sentences never start with “The reason we can’t do this…..” instead we acknowledge the challenges and find a way to overcome them - If you embrace change and innovation then this could be the perfect opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Current opportunities include programme management of solar farm installations, development of low embodied carbon solutions and low carbon/energy management and retrofit of existing global property portfolios.
As well as working with our clients you will also take the lead and champion the changes needed within our own business to deliver our net-zero carbon strategy.
These are exciting times, join us on our journey and be part of the change.
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have experience in a construction or consultancy background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
Rewards and recognition
With Mace, you will deepen your knowledge and skills, work with inspiring colleagues, influential clients and get to see the world.
We invest in our people and provide a strong benefits package including private medical insurance allowance and health and wellbeing commitment that includes 2 volunteer days a year.
