Associate Director - Health and Safety

Project: Various health and safety projects.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide visible, effective HSW leadership and advice to the Mace property managing director and their business unit directors.
The role is focussed in consulting, delivering expertise across all aspects of health, safety and wellbeing to both internal and external stakeholders and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and influence decisions affecting health, safety and wellbeing.
- Working closely with the consult sector head of HSW, project leadership teams, supply chain partners, clients and other relevant stakeholders.
- Managing and developing a team of HSW professionals and technical experts to deploy the Mace HSW strategy via a compliant, progressive and “best in class” service through diligent and effective use of that resource.
- Managing the timecard allocation of each of their team members to ensure that the team is efficiently deployed, and the best-suited resource is allocated to each assignment.
You have a City Guilds NVQ Level 5 in OSH qualification or diploma in NEBOSH. You hold a chartered status within a relevant industry body such as CMIOSH. You have excellent knowledge of CDM regulations, national and international HSE standards.
You are digitally savvy and can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You have technical expertise in the field of health, safety and wellbeing in a construction or consultancy background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
