Mace Group

Information

Mace Group has been appointed by client The Briz Construction Company to project manage the Galleria retail centre in the heart of the historic city of St. Petersburg in Russia. This is the company's first major appointment in the former Russian capital and is a key milestone in the ongoing development of the Russian business.

The 180,000 square metre development has a construction value of US$278m and is on programme to open in February 2010. The design is for a five storey retail centre with two levels of basement car parking.  In addition to retail, there will be a fitness centre and cinema.

Owing to its location in the centre of historical St. Petersburg, the development will adhere to strict governmental heritage planning controls.

Once complete the project will benefit from its location, as the site is situated in the centre of the city's retail district shoppers close to Moskovski railway station, which has direct trains to Moscow and the surrounding area.
