Information

Como’s Special Projects team delivered this stylish and high profile art gallery in Mayfair to reflect client Gagosian Gallery’s main gallery in King’s Cross. The design reflected the simplicity of Gagosian’s other galleries. The walls and ceilings are completely free of services, lights and air conditioning and works included an extensive full height shop front and a resin bonded terrazzo floor.

Installation of the shop front was a particular challenge as it had to be fully demountable to allow sculpture pieces to be moved into the gallery.

With the project team appointed just nine weeks before the grand opening, a team work approach was essential to the success of the project. Working closely with our supply chain, neighbouring residents and businesses we were able to achieve the opening date.
