Como’s Special Projects team was appointed to construct the new broadcast space for CCTV’s European Bureau within the Grade II listed, Associated Press building in Camden.
The works comprised a sympathetic refurbishment of the Grade 2 listed space incorporating general office area, reception, a control room for the broadcast systems, AV/Dub & make up facilities, a new cooling system and installation of a bespoke lighting rack above the new anchor desk area.
The project, already challenging due to a tight programme, had to accommodate designed development during the construction period as well as the integration of a number of bespoke components from different continents with varying tolerances and connections.
