Mace has delivered a rolling programme of branch refurbishments throughout the UK and Northern Ireland for client Abbey.
Mace was first appointed in early 2004 to carry out feasibility and trial refurbishment projects for client Abbey. In 2005 our appointment resulted in the successful completion and refurbishment of 121 Abbey branches.
By the end of 2006, Mace had completed more than 200 branch refurbishments since the start of the programme and in October of that year, Mace secured an agreement to refurbish the remaining 330 branches across the network through 2007. The 2007 delivery schedule equated to a 50% increase in workload for the Mace team in comparison to 2006.
