Dubai Marina

Famous the world over for its rate of urban growth, Dubai is known for large scale projects that set new standards for development. One of the first to come out of the region is city-within-a-city Dubai Marina. Emaar engaged Mace to help deliver a programme consistent with the aspirations of its luxury-focused customers. The ambitious project is also significant for being the developer’s first big residential scheme.

Initially appointed to project manage the master plan for the whole of the marina, Mace was subsequently tasked with project managing the first six residential towers. As is often the case, Mace’s role was to support and advise the client and help drive pragmatic and innovative thinking into the programme from the outset. Building from years of experience working in Dubai, Mace strove to set the benchmark for quality, cost and speed of delivery, while employing deft and intelligent planning to join up infrastructure and deliver the programme. The completed project was successfully handed over in 2006, offering a mix of one to six bedroom luxury apartments and villas. Mace went on to gain four further appointments with Emaar, Old Town Dubai and Burj Dubai Residences 1, 2 and 3.
