Mace's work experience programme wins NCWE award

Mace is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a Quality Mark Award by the National Council of Work Experience (NCWE), in recognition of the quality and breadth of the company's student placement/work experience programme.

The NCWE Awards are an annual scheme designed to encourage and reward organisations in any industry that display good practice in work experience offerings.

Kath Knight, Mace Group Human Resources Director commented: "Mace has long believed that work experience placements are a beneficial way to bring new ideas and enthusiasm into an organisation whilst giving the next generation a stimulating introduction to the construction industry. We're thrilled to win an award for our efforts in this vital area."

Judging the entries a Quality Mark Board member remarked that: "Mace has expanded its programme over the years and ensures that students are appropriately selected through a wide campaign of recruitment. There is a strong and clear commitment by Mace to provide meaningful and developmental work experience placements and I have no hesitation in recommending that they are awarded the Quality Mark."
