Mace Group board makes a pledge

In line with the company's continued commitment to benchmark against the Investor in People (IiP) standard, the Mace Group board has signed up to the government's 'skills pledge' which is a public commitment to support all employees in developing their full potential.
HR director Kath Knight says: "The board acknowledges that the Mace Group's staff are the lifeblood of the business and vital to our continued success. The professionalism of staff and the quality of service they provide has a direct influence on the high level of repeat order business the company enjoys. It is therefore of the utmost importance that we offer staff the opportunity to further develop their skills and work towards relevant and valuable qualifications."
