Clipper Challenge - Mace's charity race in the Solent

Mace is proud to have established the Clipper Challenge, an informal corporate race held every year in the Eastern Solent, sponsored by a growing number of Mace projects and trade contractors. The Mace Clipper Charity Challenge started quite modestly in 2006 with 5 boats competing and has doubled in size every year since. The event now has 20 boats with 160 participants from the construction industry competing. Entry is open to all non professional competitors within the construction industry.
Clipper Challenge 2008 Update
This event is a great team experience on the high seas. But it’s more than that. The informal corporate entertainment in the evening, often in unusual and interesting locations provides the perfect opportunity for networking in a relaxed and jovial environment.

This year’s event took place 29-30th May 2008 and was again a great success. To find out more about who came where in the race, how much money was raised and other details click on the PDF, left.

Charity
The Clipper Challenge is a non profit making event organised by Mace and all money raised goes directly to the The Philip Green Memorial Trust and Cancer Research UK. Mace is pleased to announce that in the three years that the event has been running in excess of £100,000 will have been donated to charity.
