Mace has won the project/construction management firm of the year and project of the year awards at the prestigious Building Awards 2011.
The Building Awards recognise the industry’s top performers and encourage sustained performance and further development throughout the sector. Mace was a finalist in four categories and won project of the year for the Royal Shakespeare Theatre Transformation in Stratford, where it was project and construction manager. The international consultancy and construction company was also crowned project/construction management firm of the year.
Attended by senior-level directors, chief executives and partners from the delivery, consultancy and procurement areas, the event recognised the industry’s most innovative performers in the current challenging and competitive market.
Mace’s two awards follow its earlier success this month in winning the ACE/NCE Major Firm of the Year award.
