Mace growth stays on track, rises 15 places in 2011 Sunday Times listings

  • Mace has improved its rating in the Top Track 100, rising 15 places in 2010-11

Mace has once again made it in to the Sunday Times Top Track list which ranks Britain's top 100 private companies in terms of the biggest sales, climbing 15 places to number 55.

The tenth annual Top Track 100 league table supplement was published in The Sunday Times on 26 June and features companies with sales ranging from £23.3bn to £585m.

Last year Mace featured at number 70, but our 2011 ranking has risen up the charts to number 55. CEO Stephen Pycroft said: “This is a terrific achievement. We’re facing some of the most challenging economic conditions of recent times yet we have managed to improve our annual turnover to become one of the top companies in the UK. It’s a real testament to the dedication, effort and enthusiasm of everyone at Mace, and the Board are extremely grateful for what has been a great team effort.”

Mace’s annual turnover rose from £726m in 2009 to £851m in 2010; an increase of 17.2% and the company expanded its international portfolio from 48 countries to 65.
