Mace delivers the 2010 Serpentine Pavilion by Jean Nouvel

Mace has once again project managed the annual Serpentine Pavilion, delivering 2010's design by Jean Nouvel, which opened to delighted visitors in London's Kensington Gardens on the 10th of July. Now in its tenth year the pavilion has become a fixture on both the London' art and architecture circuit and a highlight for visitors to the park - giving international architects their first chance to build a structure in the UK that gives full flight to their imagination and creativity.

This year's pavilion by French architect Jean Nouvel makes playful reference to the red of London's buses, post boxes, and phone boxes, described by the man himself as "more like an artwork than traditional architecture". It features a café for visitors and will host public events on Friday evenings.

Mace has once again offered its services to the gallery for free, a sponsorship package that allows us to make a wider contribution to the artistic and architectural strength of the city.
