Mace has been operating in the Middle East and North Africa for over 12 years. Since then the company has set up offices in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Oman and more recently in Qatar and Saudi Arabia.
Mace has won several major projects across the Gulf including contracts for a five-star hotel and resort for Al Jaber on Saadiyat Island, the Khalifa Bin Zayed Foundation’s and the Emirates Investment Authority’s headquarters, both in Abu Dhabi, and a mixed-use entertainment, technology and commercial destination in Bahrain.
Mace is primarily involved with hospitality, retail and residential projects, but we are always looking at other areas for growth. We are actively focusing on the transport sector, which includes railways and aviation. We are also looking at hospitals and education facilities and are aggressively pursuing these sectors as we have the expertise and experience from the group.

2009 saw Mace expand into Doha in Qatar. Mace was appointed in a four-year service agreement in a project management, cost management and construction management role on the New Doha International Airport (NDIA).
The expansion into the infrastructure sector in the Middle East highlights the group’s continued growth in the region.
Mace is adding value in Qatar by:
