Stefano Saldini

Stefano provides strategic delivery advice to the early stages of major projects and programmes. He works with clients, masterplanners and technical teams devising strategies and solutions for the delivery of large capital investments.

Stefano has a broad experience in design, leading engineering teams for multi-disciplinary consultancies both within the UK and Italy. He has worked on the planning, design and implementation of a variety of building and infrastructure projects worldwide.

Stefano played a significant part in London’s winning bid to host the 2012 Olympic Games and in setting up the key strategies for the delivery of the Olympic Park programme. His input, based on a holistic approach, ability in solving design and delivery challenges and his particular interest for the built environment was key to the successful operational and projects’ integration on the Olympic Programme.

Stefano has worked on a number of projects in Europe and Asia. One example of these is the setting up the operational structure and delivery strategy for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi (Russia). This includes more than 200 projects encompassing sport venues and major road and rail infrastructure.
