Ross Abbate | Mace
Ross joined Mace in July 2007 and is responsible for the growth of the business. In that time, he has been focused on building relationships with key consultants within the industry and target blue chip organisations. Thus far, this has resulted in wins with clients such as Eisai, Imperial War Museum, SIS TV, Rail Safety and Standards Board, Invesco (North America) the Supreme Courts of Barbados, Takeda, RSSB and the BG Group. Ross is also responsible for a number of operational clients including BG Group, ITN, Takeda, The Royral British Legion and RSSB.
Ross, a qualified Electrical Engineer, has over 12 years experience within the Facilities Management industry. Ross began his time in the industry managing facility services for client such BP, Mars, Shell, Unigate Diaries. On moving back to Australia in 2000, Ross slowly moved into a Business Development role where he secured clients such as Vodafone, CSC, COMindico and Maquarie Assets Limited for Johnson Control. In 2003, he moved to Resolve FM to head their business development operation where he lead them in securing work in the private sector with General Motors and American Express and in the public sector with local and state governments. Ross's success at Resolve FM lead him to being appointed acting General Manager before he returned to the UK in 2006 to join Johnson Controls as a Senior Solution Manager. Ross in this period before joining Macro in 2007 was part of the team who successfully re-negotiated the Novatis contract and secured the Intel Project Management and Facilities management framework across EMEA.
Ross has experience in working within the FM industry in a number of regions across the world including the Americas, EMEA, Asia and Australasia.
