Mark Castle

Mark is a member of the strategic board for construction and the director responsible for Mace’s public and private construction businesses.

Mark joined Mace in 2004 to establish and lead Mace Plus, the contracting arm of the Mace business. At the end of 2010 Mace Plus merged into the Mace brand in a move to bring the construction management and contracting strengths of the business together.

Mark began his career in the construction industry in 1981 as a commercial trainee with Mowlem and over the last 30 years has gained experience across various business disciplines including commercial,marketing and general management. Prior to joining Mace, Mark held senior roles at Wates Group and Structuretone Inc where he was managing director of individual companies or groups of businesses and his business experience includes working with both UK and USA based organisations.

The growth of the construction business since 2004 has been significant and Mark continues to lead his management teams in diversifying  its client base, markets and delivery offer. Mace's construction portfolio continues to expand across all sectors.

Mark represents Mace on the UKCG Forum and is Chairman of the Southern Board. Mark is also an active member of Critical Eye – the network of Business Leaders.
